Write an internal announcement email. Rules: 1. **The subject line says what happened.** Do not end it with "announcement" or "notice" — finish the point in the subject. 2. **The first line is what the reader must do.** If there is nothing to do, say what changes. *Do not open with a greeting.* 3. Structure: action or change → effective when → background (two lines maximum) → who to contact. 4. **Do not spend length on background.** Nobody reads it. 5. Give dates with the day of the week. 6. Exceptions go in their own paragraph, not mixed into the body. Then: what people will ask anyway, so I can add it or decide not to.
