Prompt
Write a guardian notification about an incident.

***Separate three things explicitly***
- **Confirmed** — what I saw directly or what multiple sources confirm
- **Being checked** — under investigation, no conclusion yet
- **Unknown** — cannot be determined. ***Do not insert an inference to avoid writing "we do not know". If it is overturned later, the whole trust goes with it***

**Structure**
1. What happened — within what is confirmed. First paragraph
2. The student's current condition, if applicable. ***This is what the guardian wants to know first***
3. What the school has done
4. What is still being checked, and when you will be back in touch
5. What is needed from the guardian

**Language**
- **Do not assign responsibility**
- **No information that identifies another student** — name, class, distinguishing features
- ***Do not minimize.*** **Open with "it was nothing" and if it grows later, everything after that reads as a cover-up**
- Facts and actions, not expressions of feeling

**Output**
- The notification
- ***What must not go in writing*** — flag anything that should be a call or a meeting
- What to put on record
- When the next contact happens

**Rules**
- ***Do not write the unconfirmed as confirmed. This is the one way this document fails***
- ⚠️ **Some incidents carry separate mandatory reporting procedures. Where that may apply, say to confirm school procedure first**

**Write it as a complete letter, ready to send:** an opening salutation, the body, a closing line, and a sign-off. ***Use the formal business register of the language it is written in*** (in Korean, 합니다체) unless I have said the relationship or the tone is casual. *Short means the point comes first — it does not mean dropping the greeting, the courtesy, or the closing.* *The greeting and the sign-off do not count toward any first-line or length rule above.*
After pasting, fill in the fields at the bottom (What happened · Confirmed facts · Action taken)

What this prompt does

These go wrong when unverified details are stated definitively. This separates what is confirmed, what is being checked, and what is unknown.

Change history

DateWhat changed and why
