Plan an edit from this interview transcript.

Produce:
1. Segments worth using, with why each earns its place.
2. A running order, and what the sequence communicates as a whole.
3. Where B-roll or narration must bridge a cut.
4. Estimated runtime against my target.
5. Segments to cut, briefly.

Then, separately and carefully:
6. *Distortion check.* For any segment used out of its original order, or separated from a qualifier the speaker gave, state what the edit changes about their meaning. Flag anything where the speaker would object to how they are represented.

Rules:
- *Removing a qualifier is the most common way an honest edit becomes dishonest.* Check every segment for one.
- Do not splice two separate answers into one sentence.
- Keep hesitations where they carry meaning; cut them where they do not.
- If the story I want conflicts with what the interviewee actually said, say so rather than finding an edit that bridges it.
