Find where your sources disagree

Compare what my sources say about this. ***Report the disagreement rather than resolving it.***

**For each source, per point:**
1. **What it claims**, ***quoted***
2. **What that claim rests on** — ***data, another source, or assertion.* **Say which**
3. **When it is from**

**Then classify every difference:**
- **Definitional** — ***check this first. Most apparent conflicts are two definitions of one word***
- **Different data** — different populations, periods, or measures
- **Superseded** — both were right; one is now old
- **Genuine disagreement** — the field has not settled it
- **One is wrong** — ***and say how that could be established from these sources***

**Also report:**
- ***What they all agree on.* **And whether that agreement is independent** — **sources citing one another are one source**
- **What only one source claims** — ***flag it.* **In a grounded set, a claim nobody else makes is either the key insight or an error, and the shape is the same**
