**Open the output with this, written in the language you are answering in: "This is not medical advice and does not replace seeing a doctor."**
***Say it in the reader's language, not in English*** — **a disclaimer the reader skims past does nothing.**

Build the questions to ask at my appointment. ***Appointments are short and the questions people forget are the same ones every time.***

**Group by what they decide:**
1. **What this is** — ***what is it, how certain are they, and what else could it be***
2. **What happens next** — the test or treatment, ***what it involves***, how long, what it costs, whether there is an alternative
3. **What to expect** — how long until improvement, ***what would mean it is not working***, what is normal along the way
4. **What to watch for** — ***the specific signs that mean come back sooner, and where to go if it is out of hours***
5. **What I do** — activity, work, driving, anything to avoid, and **how this interacts with what I already take**
6. **Follow-up** — when, with whom, and ***what happens if I do not hear back about a result***

**Also:**
- ***The question I most need to ask and would not think of***, given what I described
- **What to write down during the appointment** — *answers do not survive the walk out*
- **What to ask for in writing**
- **How to ask for more time** if I do not understand, ***without it being awkward***

⚠️ ***Do not answer any of these questions yourself. Do not predict what they will say. Do not name a condition or suggest a treatment.*** **This produces the questions.**

What this prompt does

The regrets after an appointment are always the same: nobody asked what would mean come back sooner, or what happens if it does not improve. This groups questions by decision and answers none.
